Yet another sketchup model! Yay!
Here’s another model 2 different ways. I like that the bedroom is on the floor. I’m sure it needs a little tweaking to get it perfect
It has no name just yet but I’ll work on that! Both of these layouts were inspired by this little apartment.
The one on the left has room to the left of the bed for creative storage. I was also thinking that it would be neat to have storage under the bed too.
For the kitchen in the model on the right, I thought it would be neat to convert a china hutch or something like that into an all in one kitchen and other storage.

Thanks Grant! I absolutely love the idea of the pull out kitchen! And the “Wall ‘o’ Storage”. I’ll have to integrate the wall ‘o’ storage in a design somewhere. I have a similar idea for a housetruck design that I’m working on.

Always a great idea. Thanks for sharing. The idea of a free standing compact kitchen reminded me of this link from Tiny House Design. It seems like a really nice solution for a place which can be so open.

Assuming I had a free standang structure, and wasn’t limited by the 8 feet wide limitation of the road, the one feature I would really want is a storage wall. Floor to ceiling shelves all tucked behind a curtian.
Also, I really like the fact that all the glass is on one side, a great way to maximize your passive solar gain.
